URI Cycling

About

The mission of the URI Cycling Club is to promote a bike-friendly environment on campus, to encourage cycling fitness within the university community, and to offer an opportunity for students to race at the collegiate level in various forms (road, mountain-bike, cyclo-cross). The club is committed to helping reduce the carbon footprint of the campus, specifically focusing on the positive impact cycling has on a community. The club is currently involved in the research and development of establishing bike lanes on campus and is seeking ways to increase the number of cyclists at URI.
